“I’ve been cooking for about 10 years. I actually started off working as a busboy at a restaurant in Coconut Grove. From the first day, the kitchen staff always treated me super well – often offering me great meals when I needed them the most. It made me realize that food goes way beyond just filling an empty stomach. I knew that was what I wanted to do for people. I started working in the kitchen shortly after.

I love kitchens. They have been a continuous learning experience, mixing different cultures and people. I’ve met people I never thought I would meet, and seen places I never thought I would see. This career doesn’t only teach you how to cook, it can show you the world.”
